On November 20th, we will be voting for two Board of Director positions. Please prayerfully consider each of the following candidates. If you are unable to be in attendance that you night, you can vote absentee with Teresa Gooch or Jim Sharp prior to the beginning of the service that evening.

Craft Group Event: Join us for the quilt exhibit at the craft center this Sunday morning. We’ll meet at 9:30am at Jo's Diner (1149 Old Fannin Rd just south of Spillway Rd on the east side of the road) and have a delicious breakfast before going to the exhibit.

September 2011 Beacon

Please find attached the September edition of The Beacon.

Special Crossover Service

Crossover service will be a 'people' review of the film 'Mississippi The Stand'. This film follows six stories, and SHFC is one of the stories, about gay & lesbians in MS. Lance Bass worked closely with this project and is also one of the stories.
